Reviews
Lots of goodies at this store. Good variety of things. The food court area is nice. Good tasting poke and kimbap! Parking in structure is validated with receipt. Clean store. Staff is friendly.
I love coming out to this H Mart! It's a little small, but it's always neat and tidy and the fish station is also well-regulated. You can tell the seafood is fresh because there's no odor and you won't find a fish with a punctured or bruised eyeball -they're all in excellent condition. They can also clean the fish for you with no extra charge per request! They used to have free parking but I'm sure they changed this because a lot of people would just use the free parking to go somewhere else. It's now first hour free with $30 minimum market purchase, so don't forget to get your ticket validated.
This H mart never fails me. I've been coming here since I first moved to LA. Love their selection and they keep it fresh with new trends coming from Korea. I also love their prepared foods too. One thing they could improve on is lowering the price on their kimbap. The staff here are also nice.
Where did my previous review and pictures go? How have I not written a review here? I am a regular customer... Quality/Quantity - We get our Korean snacks (and my soju and Korean beer) here. Decent Korean beer selection. We also get our deli items. This is the first time I saw Korean mochi snacks sold by the pound, I like that idea! Thank you. Other items are - Live seafood, meat & seafood, fresh produce, prepared foods, deli, fresh marinated meats, poke bar, side dishes, sashimi section, ready made, and of course, grocery. 3 small independent delis - Kimbap, Korean Fried Chicken & Pastry. Atmosphere - Bathrooms in the mall. One of the shops shares the bathroom code, in Korean, in plain sight; if only I could read Korean, LOL. See picture. Service - Good. Price - Above average, but that is expected for this quality. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1982. Fun facts: The "H" in "H Mart" stands for Han Ah Reum - A Korean phrase meaning "one arm full of groceries." Congrats on being the largest Asian American Supermarket with 84 locations, including international locations in Canada and London, especially from your humble first 1982 store in Queens, NY.
I love the sashimi platter there. I always get it after a long day at work with sake, perilla leaves , garlic, avocado. Yummers
